Reliance JV- BP create brand for multiple fuels in India
Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) and bp’s fuel and mobility joint venture, Reliance BP Mobility Limited (RBML), launched on Tuesday the first Jio-bp branded Mobility Station in India. The companies will be selling multiple fuels including services for charging and battery swapping for electric vehicles. They said they will be having EV charging infrastructure across India.
“Jio-bp is bringing a network of world-class Mobility Stations offering multiple fuelling choices to the customers. While reimagining mobility solutions in India, the Jio-bp brand is poised to provide an unmatched and distinctive customer experience,” said the companies in a statement.
The existing network has over 1400 fuel pumps and will be rebranded as Jio-bp within the coming months.
India's market for fuels and mobility is rapidly growing, with an expectation to be the fastest-growing fuels market in the world over the next 20 years.
