ADNOC Distribution and TotalEnergies celebrate two years of TEME joint venture in Egypt

ADNOC Distribution and TotalEnergies have marked the two-year anniversary of their joint venture, TotalEnergies Marketing Egypt (TEME), reinforcing their commitment to strengthening Egypt’s energy sector. The milestone was celebrated at the Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES) 2025, where both companies showcased their contributions to Egypt’s growing fuel and retail market.

Expanding ADNOC’s regional footprint

In 2023, ADNOC Distribution acquired a 50% stake in TEME, launching a partnership that now oversees over 240 fuel retail sites across Egypt. The venture also includes wholesale fuel distribution, aviation fuel services, and lubricant blending operations. Since its entry into the Egyptian market, ADNOC has introduced its premium retail fuel brand and Oasis convenience stores, further enhancing customer service in the region.

As part of its expansion plan, ADNOC Distribution is set to open its first flagship service station in New Cairo this year. This station will feature an enhanced Oasis convenience store and a comprehensive range of automotive services, joining the 11 existing ADNOC-branded stations in Egypt. This addition aligns with ADNOC’s broader vision of delivering superior retail experiences across its international markets.

In a significant move, ADNOC’s Voyager lubricants, which are blended locally by TEME in Egypt, will soon be available through independent distributors. This initiative extends the brand’s reach beyond ADNOC Distribution service stations, positioning Egypt as a key hub for lubricant production and export.

Looking ahead, TEME is targeting growth in Egypt’s aviation fuel market, a crucial sector for the country’s transport and tourism industries. With Egypt’s strategic position as a regional hub, the joint venture is set to play a pivotal role in meeting the country’s increasing energy demands.
