As the global economy becomes more interconnected and supply chains become more sophisticated, there is a growing need for high-quality maritime logistics companies to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of energy resources and critical equipment, and that services are conducted safely and effectively.

ADNOC Logistics & Services, a fully integrated global energy maritime logistics leader headquartered in Abu Dhabi, is meeting that challenge through its Integrated Logistics business segment that offers a comprehensive range of capabilities across the energy value chain.

Every day, the Company’s dedicated workforce of skilled professionals connect the onshore to the offshore network with a full suite of services, including the transportation of people and equipment, material handling, terminal operations, jetty services, warehouse management, and diving support.

To deliver these services with high levels of customer satisfaction, the Company operates across five logistics bases and warehouse facilities across the UAE, including the KEZAD Gateway at Khalifa Port and the 1.5 million sq m Mussafah Base, the single largest warehouse in the Middle East. With a fleet of 115+ offshore support vessels, jack-up barges, landing crafts, passenger ferries, and six quay cranes, ADNOC L&S has the scale and the assets to address the biggest opportunities and challenges facing major energy and industrial companies.

The Integrated Logistics business has been at the core of the Company’s transformational growth strategy. The 2022 acquisition of Zakher Marine International has been a powerful driver of strategic growth, and the Company now owns and operates the world’s latest fleet of 39 jack-up barges, which has supported entry into markets including Iraq and further expansion into Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

The Company is also sharpening its focus on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) markets across multiple geographies and has been awarded six EPC projects in the last three years, including the commencement of construction in 2023 of a US$975 million artificial island in the Lower Zakum Field that involves dredging, land reclamation, and marine construction.

As the needs of customers grow and evolve, so does ADNOC L&S. Over the past two years, the Company has made significant investments to develop new adjacent services, including the optimisation of passenger transports, logistics integration for artificial islands, rigs, and harbour projects, platform and rig maintenance, and well-stimulation.

Technological innovation is driving forward the Integrated Logistics business, and the Company has now fully operationalised its Integrated Logistics Services Platform (ILSP) that harnesses the power of advanced technologies to provide customers with a single digital interface that supports planning and resource optimisation for port services, warehouse operations, material handling, offshore projects, marine transportation, and rig and barge moves.

Additionally, the Company has also introduced the Integrated Logistics Management System (ILMS), an AI- enabled digital system that empowers offshore vessel planners to make proactive decisions, optimise routes and schedules, improve operational efficiency, and ensure timely delivery of energy products.

With an unwavering commitment to high customer satisfaction levels and building a 100% HSE culture, ADNOC L&S has established its Integrated Logistics business as a global leader to meet the constantly evolving challenges facing maritime logistics and supply chains with secure, dependable, and efficient solutions.
