As a joint venture between industry giants Saudi Aramco and Baker Hughes, this collaboration combines exceptional production experience with cutting-edge non-metallic technologies, positioning Novel as a leader in the field. Novel is based at the world-class King Salman Energy Park (SPARK) in Saudi Arabia, located in a 100,000 m² facility. Novel focuses on the manufacturing of Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe (RTP), pioneering research and development in non-metallic applications, and exploring opportunities across various sectors. The strategic location and advanced manufacturing processes enable Novel to deliver high-quality solutions, not only to the oil and gas industry but also in renewables,building and construction, automotive, and packaging.
Innovative products and solutions
At ADIPEC, attendees can explore Novel’s innovative products and solutions. The team will showcase a range of offerings, including their flagship product - Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipe (RTP). This corrosion-free, lightweight, and durable pipe solution can withstand pressures of up to 3000 Psi and diameters of up to 8 inches. RTP eliminates the need for chemical treatment throughout its lifespan, making it a cost-effective and environmentally friendly choice. Novel’s RTP applications cater to diverse fluid and industrial gas requirements.
Expanding horizons
In addition to RTP, Novel is developing nonmetallic downhole tubular technology to address downhole corrosion issues and meet market demand. Novel’s commitment to innovation extends beyond the oil and gas sector, with plans to expand into packaging, renewables, automotive, and building and construction industries through a dedicated R&D programme.
